Chapter Eleven

Alyssa:

TO SAY I’M BOWLED over by the beauty of the underground pools is an understatement. They’re a clear blue-green and the water’s warm like a bathtub. Too warm to swim, but good for lounging about.

For a while it had grown darker as we traveled down deeper into the caves. I knew there was water, I could hear it trickling somewhere and could smell the salty tang in the air. As we grew closer, it grew lighter. The pools are lit with a glowing luminosity that comes from the walls and is reflected in the water.

With a squeal over the stunning sight, I spin around, taking it all in. I sink in, sandals and all, only removing my belt and flinging it aside. Once inside the pool, I take off my sandals and throw them to the flat rock of the dry ground, figuring a submersion is enough to clean them.

Eventually I’ll strip my clothes, scrub them, wring them out and lay them flat to dry. I don’t mind being naked in front of Zearn. Not with the heated way he covets my form.

Like he wants to grab my ass. Spank me, make me moan.

But maybe…just maybe…being wet in white silk works better anyway. The fabric is transparent and clings to every curve of my body. With the way his eyes have darkened, I’m sure my areolas are visible through the fabric. I know my nipples jut through. Suddenly I want to know.

I make my way to the edge of the pool, scoot myself up and deliberately walk to my shoes, setting them side by side. Then I slowly walk back to the water.

Zearn has heated eyes glued to me.

I stand at the edge of the pool, letting him look his fill. Very slowly I wade into the water, feeling every step as the dress licks wetly to the folds between my legs. Hungrily, his gaze moves there.

“Hello there, handsome man,” I whisper. “I’m going to forgive you for not telling me about the hoverboard. This time. As long as you show me what that tail is capable of.”

As if he understands, his tail slides around my ankle as he inserts a knee between my legs.

“Just make sure you don’t keep something from me again.”

He looks guilty and I’m sure it’s because he wants to get me naked. Silly man. Doesn’t he realize I’m deliberately making him crazy?

I know white is transparent. I know wet silk clings to skin, showing every dip, every curve, every stiff protrusion through the fabric.

“Assahara medjool pinxarat.” The tip of his finger circles my nipple, hardening it further.

I think he’s telling me he’s about to undress me, because in the next instant, his fingers come into the loose waistline of my skirt, unties the knot, and shimmies it down my hips. I lift each foot so he can take it off and slowly he wrings it out before tossing it to the rocks.
